Most tail pads are made from EVA foam, a plastic that's rarely recycled. We chose a different path. Our tail pads are made from sustainable cork, which has a natural give and a grip that foam can't match.

Every pad is hand-finished in our workshop for crisp edges and a strong, reliable adhesive backing. It's a functional piece of craft for your board that feels better under your foot and is better for the planet.

Why cork and handmade matter

Tested on our local breaks: Designed and tested on the Gold Coast, so we know how much kick you need for a Burleigh turn.
Naturally grippy: Cork's cellular structure gives consistent, high-friction grip that holds up when wet, and it doesn't wear flat the way many foam pads do.
The shaper's look: Hand-finished pads have a premium, tactile feel that complements a beautifully shaped board rather than covering it in neon plastic.

Fitting your pad

Fitting is simple. Our pads come with a peel-and-stick adhesive backing, so there's no glue to mix or apply.

Make sure the deck is clean, dry and free of old wax.
Position the pad where you want it, using the tail and fin placement as a guide.
Peel away the backing and press the pad into place.
Apply firm, even pressure across the whole pad to activate the adhesive.
