Most balance boards are popped out of a factory press by the thousands. Ours are different. Each Green Planet Surfer Balance Board starts as a hand-selected piece of sustainable timber, right here on the Gold Coast.

We shape, sand, and seal every board in our workshop to ensure it has the perfect "flex" and durability. It’s a training tool designed by surfers, for surfers—built to help you nail those cross-steps and rail-to-rail transitions when the swell is flat. When you’re not using it, the raw grain and hand-finished edges make it a centerpiece, not something you hide under the couch.

Ethically Harvested Hardwoods: Our boards utilize a high-performance blend of Okoume veneers. These species are sourced from managed plantations under strict FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC certifications, ensuring that for every tree used, the future of the forest is protected.

Built for a Lifetime, Not a Landfill: Sustainability starts with durability. By using BS 1088 Marine Grade plywood, we ensure your board is resistant to moisture, delamination, and warping. A product that lasts a lifetime has a significantly lower carbon footprint than a cheap, disposable alternative.

Cleaner Air for Your Home: Unlike standard construction plywood that can off-gas harmful chemicals, our marine-grade core uses Type A Phenolic A-Bond resins. This results in Ultra-Low Formaldehyde (E0) emissions, making it safer for your indoor training space and the environment.

Naturally Plastic-Free: By choosing high-density hardwood over synthetic composites or plastic cores, we keep our manufacturing process grounded in natural materials that sequester carbon rather than releasing it.
